Melinda McIntire oversees the strategy for a portfolio of grants committed to improving postsecondary career and technical education outcomes for students from underserved backgrounds. Melinda has dedicated her career to postsecondary education, previously serving as the director of alumni services at Genesys Works Chicago. There, she focused on supporting underserved communities and Chicago Public Schools graduates in persistence and completion of postsecondary education and career preparation and placement. She also has worked with undergraduates at Sigma Chi Foundation, Columbia College Chicago and Loyola University Chicago. She is a member and volunteer of Pi Beta Phi Fraternity.

Melinda holds an MA in college student personnel from Bowling Green State University and a BA in music education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
