Charrette “Char” Jenkins

Operations Associate Charrette Jenkins supports the day-to-day operations of ECMC Foundation’s location in Washington, D.C., contributing to the coordination, tracking, and administrative processes that support the Foundation’s work.

Prior to joining ECMC Foundation, Charrette worked at a startup where she partnered closely with the owners to support daily operations, internal systems, scheduling, and process improvement. Earlier in her career, she worked in human services settings, building a strong foundation in social-work-informed practice and program coordination while managing multiple priorities. She brings experience that promotes her systems focused, detail-oriented approach to supporting teams.

Charrette holds a Master of Social Work from Simmons University.

Why are you working at ECMC Foundation and committed to working toward improving higher education for underserved learners?

My commitment to working at ECMC Foundation is rooted in my background in social work and human service. Throughout my career, I have supported individuals and programs navigating structural barriers within education adjacent settings. Working at ECMC Foundation allows me to contribute to systems that help reduce those barriers and support outcomes for underserved students.
