Program Intern Jack Buettner supports ECMC Foundation’s program team by contributing research, analysis, and project management to initiatives that expand postsecondary opportunity.  

Prior to joining ECMC Foundation, Jack worked in admissions roles at Carleton and Whitman Colleges, where he led diversity outreach strategies, strengthened recruitment of underrepresented students, and expanded financial aid opportunities, bringing a strong background in higher education. These experiences shaped his commitment to equity and guide his work at the Foundation. Jack has also gained experience in education technology and corporate social responsibility through roles with Strategic Education, Inc. and Chief Executives for Corporate Purpose.  

Jack holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Colorado College and is currently pursuing dual master’s degrees in Business Administration and Public Policy at the University of Minnesota.
