Why are you working at ECMC Foundation and committed to working toward improving higher education for underserved learners?
My “why” is grounded in my experience as a first-generation college graduate. My parents went to college when I was in high school, and I saw firsthand the struggles they encountered on the way to their degrees. I have carried that experience with me and it fuels my passion for removing barriers to educational opportunity, especially for those with the most standing in their way.
